USC Marshall Graduate Jamie Driscoll Joins Mella Team
Updated: Mar 28

Hi! I’m Jamie Driscoll, a social media and marketing professional and a recent graduate from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. My passion lies in helping startups and small businesses leverage digital marketing to build communities of dedicated customers.
Born and raised in Boston, MA, I moved to Los Angeles in 2017 to pursue my undergraduate degree in Economics at USC. After graduating in 2021, I decided to stay in LA to complete a Master’s degree in Marketing and Consumer Behavior. Being nearly 3,000 miles away from my family taught me one thing: distance does make the heart grow fonder.
I missed my parents and siblings dearly, but being far away from my pets was even harder. In these hard moments, I realized how much animals mean to me and was the catalyst for me to get more involved in initiatives aimed at helping them in all capacities.
For the past five years, I’ve been involved with the Best Friends Animal Society in West LA, volunteering in the kitten center, socializing adult dogs and cats, and preparing them for foster opportunities.
Having grown up with multiple pets, from hamsters and fish to cats and dogs, and having been exposed to so many animals in the BFAS shelter, it excites me greatly to be able to use my experience in marketing to spread the word about an ecosystem of products designed to improve the wellbeing of our well deserving furry friends.
I look forward to contributing to the pet health space with the rest of the amazing entrepreneurs, veterinarians, and bright-minded individuals who make up the Mella team!
