Mella Welcomes Marcin, NYU MBA Student, To The Team

Hello! My name is Marcin Skok and I am a second year MBA Candidate at the Leonard N. School of Business at New York University. I am a life-long New Yorker and have been fortunate to have had pets in the family from my childhood - from fish to parakeets to, most recently, two family dachshunds - Obi and Evy!

From a young age, I was motivated to pursue my interests - which revolved around reading and learning about cutting edge gadgets and witnessing my parents building their own business. My studies and career are subsequently focused on harnessing technology and working with innovative and purpose-driven companies to solve problems and make life easier for everybody - and that includes our beloved pets. The mission at Mella reminds me of my volunteer time with Best Friends Animal Society, where I worked with an organization that is focused on the welfare of pets, not only just their survival.

As a Product and Operations Associate with Mella, I am looking to harness my interests to help build the software for the products and assist with developing the Mella team. I am excited to help Mella help Pet Parents everywhere be more conscious of and proactive for their pets’ health!
